This Big 3 Upgrade Kit has been designed specifically to accompany our Gen 3 Dodge Diesel Truck Battery Cable Kits. The cables included in this kit are intended to complement the installation of a high output alternator and are in addition to the ones included in the Battery Cable Kits.
Our 1/0 AWG kit is perfect when adding our Mechman 240A Alternator for your truck (see below) or for alternators of up to 300A in size. The 2/0 AWG kit is perfect for larger alternators.
We recommend choosing the fuse as close to the output rating of your alternator as possible. For example, choose the 250A fuse for a 240A alternator.
